This photograph is a group of Wind Tower were built to capture any passing breeze and send to its cooling draughts down into the interiors of the house. Four-sided, the towers would catch the wind from any directions -and the taller they were the more efficiently they functioned. Incorporating elements of traditional Islamic design, no two are identical yet each contributes to a sense of uniformity in the building as a whole. This historical photograph was shot as a collection of Mr. Ramesh, as it is also available in archive in historical images.
